With birth comes a hormonal shift that initiates various remodeling processes. Your uterus will almost magically return to its original size in the first three to four weeks

Ideally, your partner, a friend or even your midwife can pamper you. You can also massage yourself, for example after a warm shower directly on your damp skin. Or you can schedule the massage as a daily moment of self-care in your mommy routine.
